To change your password:
1. Log in to Classlink (classlink.gcisd.net), then click on your profile picture at the top right.
Note: this is easier on a computer than on a mobile device.
2. Click Settings.
3. Click the Recovery option.
4. Click the Reset Password button.
Step 1 - Type your old (existing) password
Step 2 - Type the new password
Please make note of the password requirements.
Step 3 - Type the new password again then click Save.
NOTE: If you receives a “417” error when trying update your password, please try a different password. The one you are trying to use does not meet the complexity requirements or is not allowed.
This will change your password for nearly all GCISD systems, including Google, Skyward, the district website, etc.
